艺术产品如果不能够感动人们、振奋人们、警醒人们;如果艺术没有明确的表现观点,不能够给人们带来认知,而是一味强调它的不可知性,那么艺术就没有存在的价值。

我们艺术家要明确地表现,我们艺术家要有人类大的情怀,我们的作品要让人们得到思想的信息。我们需要明确地传递,我们自己首先需要有思想、有能量、有表现,我们需要勇敢,我们需要承担,我们要感知,我们要宣扬。

在人类的伟大多变的时代中,我们艺术家只是一个传播者。我们是人,是人类的一份子,我们没有资格脱离民众的认知,把自己高挂于民众之外。

English Translation

If an art product cannot move people, inspire people, or awaken people; if art has no clear point of expression and cannot bring people understanding, but only insists on its own unknowability, then art has no value in existing.

We artists must express clearly. We artists must have a larger human feeling. Our works must allow people to receive information of thought. We need to transmit clearly. We ourselves must first have thought, energy, and expression. We need courage; we need to take responsibility; we must perceive, and we must proclaim.

In humanity's great and ever-changing age, we artists are only transmitters. We are human beings, part of humanity. We have no right to detach ourselves from the cognition of the people, or to place ourselves high above them.
