据艺术家档案口述，《东方早报》编辑部曾用约一个月时间为侯一民《中国农民》编辑八个版面；版面中的作品、文字和采访均来自侯一民。专题最终未能刊出，编辑部主任还为这件事写下悼词式文章。这是《中国农民》传播史中应被记住的一件事。According to the artist's archival testimony, the editorial department of Oriental Morning Post spent about one month editing an eight-page feature for Hou Yimin's Chinese Peasants. The photographs, writing, and interviews came from Hou Yimin. The feature was ultimately not published, and the editorial director wrote a memorial-like text for the event. It is an episode that should be remembered in the publication history of Chinese Peasants.

The editorial team invested about one month and organized the photographs, interviews, and text into an eight-page feature. 当前档案中已见 6 张“见证”系列原始图：4 张为竖向单版，2 张为横向双版合成图，合计对应《东方早报》八个报纸版面。现存图像先以完整大图方式公开呈现。The archive contains six original "Witness" image files: four vertical single-page layouts and two horizontal double-page spreads. Together they correspond to eight newspaper pages of the Oriental Morning Post feature. The surviving images are presented as complete large layouts.

Related public proof
封面标题“明年我还能不能上学……”直接指向农村儿童教育和贫困处境。它与《东方早报》版面一起，构成《中国农民》从作品到公共传播的证据链。The cover headline, "Can I still go to school next year...", points directly to rural children's education and poverty. Together with the Oriental Morning Post layouts, it forms a proof chain from photographic work to public circulation.
